The problem with a socialist ethos dominating government is that of itself it has no conscience. It’s the job of government to protect the people and their liberty, not to enslave them so it can exploit the people. Socialism in all it’s forms is a scourge on humanity.

The free market is always the answer. When the state "regulates" the market is no longer free and becomes friendly capitalism. The more state, the less freedom, the less growth and the greater the probability of letting socialism in. 1/2
