This thread reverberates with a moral authority that refuses to acquiesce to the corruption of our times.
The White House wouldn鈥檛 support the @VP overruling the advice of the parliamentarian. @SenSchumer took $15 minimum wage out of COVID relief bill before it was brought to the floor. 8 white Dem senators led by Manchin joined extremist Republicans to block Sanders' amendment.

Well, Biden can add Pro Life Evangelicals to the list that are ticked off at him. 2022 and beyond is going to be a bloodbath for the Democratic party.

Senator Manchin is advocating $11 per hour tied to inflation ... Get real ... $15 is proposed to happen over 5 years ... Cut the crap! Liberal Dems need to have the courage to say NO ... to get what they really want!

$15 minimum wage should鈥檝e been included. It should still be passed. However VP Harris overturning the decision wouldn鈥檛 mean much is they couldn鈥檛 get the 8 senators. That political capital should be spent when they think they can win.

It also reverberates with profound disappointment and, further down, hopefully something that looks like traditional acquiescence -- but let's hope it's instead perseverance and determination.
