Manchin and Sinema say "No" and the whole party bows to them; progressives keep saying "Yes" so the party doesn't bow to them ever. Can anyone explain this to me?

Liberals never say NO ... they follow the Party line and they get taken for granted ... the Liberals have to start saying NO ... the Rev Dr Barber talked about this ... In order to get to A ... you sometimes have to go to C first ... even when C is in the opposite direction!

I'm sure climate change legislation that must be approved by Joe Manchin will be really fantastic.

As @jimmy_dore says the party changes you you don’t change the party. The rot runs deep. That’s why Tulsi Gabbard told the truth and no one listened.

It’s a Math problem... until 2022. Pointless to be outraged over it. Progressives have a great agenda, but the Democrats will need more Senators- that’s where the energy needs to be, not rage quitting b/c not getting everything on the first Bill.
