Of the eight Democrats who voted against the $15 an hour minimum wage amendment, I don’t think the woman with little money who dressed and acted foolishly is nearly as chilling a phenomenon as the multi- millionaires in business suits who did so smoothly, calmly & no drama at all

They can all be equally monstrous. There's no need to create some kind of evil hierarchy. It expends too much time and energy when we should just shame and remove them all. Period.

They’re all horrifying but her sadistic nonchalant glee was really stunning.

that's the media spin you're listening to, she voted down money working people deserve AND she did it in a callous and unserious manner ffs as if lives aren't being affected by this

Was it really foolish, though? In her eyes, I’m sure she “performed” with an objective. She’s trying to fatten her pockets with help from those millionaires and billionaires behind the scenes. She needs to be neutralized just as much as them.

She took pleasure in it, that's the very disturbing difference. As someone who lived in extreme poverty as a child she knows the suffering and yet she took glee in sticking it to ppl.

In the case of @Sen_JoeManchin it brakes my heart that we could have had a true fighter for the people in @paulajean2020 . As for @kyrstensinema people should not focus on what she wore but roll the tape back further & watch her apparently seek Mitch's approval before voting NO

I find it all chilling, the absolute contempt by the ruling class for the working class is, in your face, palpable. So many people feeling hopeless right now realizing there is nobody coming to save us and we can’t seem to collectively come together to fight back. We’re fucked.

I found it shameful and a bit shocking. Such a lack of respect for the voters who put her there, the people who are suffering. Folks who have worked hard time and long hours for several years to get to 15 an hour, I say to you, you have been underpaid and undervalued as well.

The whole purpose of her little show was to be able to shift the conversation to one about sexism. Thry are playing us like a fiddle. Your either naive or helping them deflect.
