When people who have millions of $ of personal wealth deny a minimum wage hike to 100s of 1000s of people who would be lifted out of poverty by it, they shouldn’t be able to hide their heartless behavior behind the ridiculous claim that they’re being good stewards of the economy

Yes they should. The minimum wage adversely affects hundreds of millions of the rest of us and will more than likely do more harm to the people it intends to help. It is a foolish policy that sounds good to people with limited understanding and those opposing it are correct

Giving people an incentive to work is not heartless. Also, printing money like a drunken sailor could be much more heartless if your dollars become worthless.

They seem to forget that when we make more money, we pay more in taxes (unless you're wealthy, then you pay less than everyone else).
