When people who have millions of $ of personal wealth deny a minimum wage hike to 100s of 1000s of people who would be lifted out of poverty by it, they shouldn’t be able to hide their heartless behavior behind the ridiculous claim that they’re being good stewards of the economy

hey that's great Marianne, so what are you gonna do to stop them because talking about how they need to do better just isn't gonna cut it anymore, especially when you're just gonna keep telling everybody to vote for them again on the basis that Republicans are worse

Can someone explain the difference between Trump and Bidens COVID relief plan? Why is it ok to give money to big companies but not ok to for a $15 minimum wage and money to the essential working poor and services #economicslavery

That’s not how lifting people out of poverty works. The reason for poverty is governments.
We don't need people like that serving us.

This whole economy argument is 100% propaganda. People having spending money in their pockets is what's good for the economy.

I think 2020, with all the calls to "reopen," proved that plenty of people (millionaires or otnerwise) care about the economy more than human well-being. I would argue none of this is new. Sadly...

Amen, they all should be held to their votes and voted out. We also need to make it easier for everyday people to run for office. It shouldn't be those who have money or connected to money who are only able to get in.
