When people who have millions of $ of personal wealth deny a minimum wage hike to 100s of 1000s of people who would be lifted out of poverty by it, they shouldn’t be able to hide their heartless behavior behind the ridiculous claim that they’re being good stewards of the economy

I think Americans demand cuts to the 110 per hour the senate and house make. Sometimes a reality check is the only way. Legislation lowering salaries to 7.25 per hour. Maybe then we can get good law makers who work for ghe people!

The only power we regular Americans have against this despotism is a general strike, and Americans aren't going to do it. But if the pressure from our idiotic politicians is kept up, one day it's going to blow like an over-stoked boiler.
Biden's progress so far: - No stimulus checks yet - Only $1,400 not $2,000 as promised - Fewer people getting the checks - No minimum wage increase as promised - Continued bombing around the world - Most importantly, no more mean tweets
Well for one thing, it's not true. When people make more money, they spend more money. The economy booms. I lived through that for one short little period of my life, so I know. Then Mitch McConnell took over and it all went to hell.

Hardly anyone would be lifted out of poverty. Stop being dishonest.
