When people who have millions of $ of personal wealth deny a minimum wage hike to 100s of 1000s of people who would be lifted out of poverty by it, they shouldn’t be able to hide their heartless behavior behind the ridiculous claim that they’re being good stewards of the economy

It would destroy small businesses and cut hours for many. Hiking the federal min wage will not have the effect you think it would.

If you see stories of American workers who struggle to make ends meet every day, retweet them & tag media accounts and key Senators! My friends who have minimum wage jobs are barely surviving & these Senators are absolutely clueless! #FightFor15 @SenatorSinema @JoeManchinWV

Um no. A wage hike will result in lay-offs (because companies can’t afford to pay them) and/or higher cost of living. Both of which are a worst case scenario (compared to now).

Guess you ignore facts. Prices will be increased outrageously to pay for wage increases. Prices now equal to the pay. Other than illegal pandemic price increases. Welfare, fixed income don't get such raises. They're forced into deeper poverty. Or you just don't care?

What does “good stewards of economy”, even mean? An economy that only survives by wages below poverty levels, is a fragile, unsustainable economy.

If these liars are "good stewards of the economy" they wouldn't be multi-millionaires after coming to D.C. with NOTHING.

I wish that they weren't so against helping us, the American people 😡

This was our best chance to strike a blow against low-wage poverty in over a dozen years. But eight Dems voted with Trump Republicans to keep wages miserably low. #FightFor15 #RaiseTheWage Opinion: Democrats, keep your promise on the $15 minimum wage cnn.com/2021/03/05/opinions/…
