I'm confused, Marianne- please what do I not see here? I see the Democrats ARE trying for the 15$/h to pass, so: the mother IS trying to call the police, but the father is kicking the phone out of her hands over & over. So she now struggles to find a new way of reporting it.😌

The Repubs are not who kept the $15/hr min wage from happening - they of course aren’t supporting anything in the bill at all! But it’s 2 Democratic senators who kept it out, plus something like 8 of them who voted against it as an amendment today (Biden did apparently not push)

And what happened to $600 UI we were promised? Democrats have turned into a joke. Just remember, a Republican senate voted for $600/week last March and now Democrats have control, they cut the benefit in half. Democrats are fighting for who?
