It’s abysmal that the minimum wage is $7.25/hour. It’s even more abysmal that we can’t find 60 Senators who agree with that sentiment.

The Democratic Party seems to have no idea what it is doing to itself.

In British terms the Democratic party has been infiltrated by 8 Keir Starmers.
They know, and have been doing it since FDR where even he threatened to #DemExit if the DNC continued to be Republican-Lite. Despite that, people like you continue to have romanticized impressions of governing elites much like pro wrestling marks ...

At this point, letting it destroy itself is the best option. I hope the GOP does the same.

They really think it is OK to go back to the neoliberal years of Bill Clinton, Bush and Obama, as if those were good old days.

This is some BS right here:
Because you never think this through do you? For new employees their compensation is both pay AND training/skills building - so instead of PAYING for that education/training you are PAID to learn - all that free education goes away if $15 min wage succeeds

They know. cambridge.org/core/journals/… " . . economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence."
You're going to vote for them anyway because you're afraid of Republicans. Why would they ever have to do anything different?

They don't care. There is no Democratic party. There is no Republican party. There is a radical corporatist party with a red team and a blue team. These teams play soap opera politics with lots of good guy/bad guy drama. They have one goal; serve the 1%.
