Despite all evidence to the contrary, I believe in my gut there’s going to be one of those Kairos moments when such a confluence of love and goodness prevail that injustice and oppression are thrown back on their heels.

I hope so, and can't wait.

Those moments happen all the time, it’s that people are so desperate for some “grand” moment which is more important or special than right now. If we all choose to do the right thing for the sake of doing the right thing that’s enough.

Marianne, I recently watched your riveting interview with Dr. Cornel West, when you mentioned this possibility. I share your intuitive sense on this. I think we are on the brink: we either shift to love or extinction. Now chaos rules:(.

Not one moment but a lifelong project

I hope you are right. I really, really do. But life and history tells me it will more likely be absolute despiration, anger, and violence that pushes back. We have seen this play out many times before, in many different cultures, and it almost always follows a predictable path.

I hope you are right. Some good has to happen soon.

It would be great. Not holding my breath.

love and goodness are certainly what i hope prevails but honestly i haven't been feeling those feelings coming as i continue to witness those in power lie to us and abandon us. im just sad and disappointed at how petty it all is.
