It’s sort of excruciating watching progressive Congresspeople tweet out their frustration with obviously the same sense of powerlessness that the rest of us feel.

Pt3 eight Democratic senators joined with Republicans to kill the $15 minimum wage. The bill goes back to the House for final passage tomorrow and it is considered a package that Biden must pass. That means we still have one major chance to get a $15 minimum wage passed.

Pt4All we need is for six courageous House progressives to vote against the stimulus bill until it includes the minimum wage increase. Please call The Squad now & tell them that we must raise the $7.25 an hour poverty wage to $15 an hour & include it in the stimulus bill tomorrow

?????...I agree with the popular sentiment that they absolutely do have the power to do something about it ..but I guess they’re trying to sell us on the Manchin factor that he’s suddenly the most powerful man in the country or they completely agree with him

All we know may only serve to hurt us, if we don’t assert all means available, to stop the villains.

Heck NO, Marianne. They are not powerless. Elections are constantly coming on. It's just a matter of People waking up and realizing who couldn't care less for them.

Your positivity, and wisdom has been a light in dark times but I feel like we’re over. It’s not over night like the asteroid. It’s a slow hemorrhage that will end us

That begs the question: how effective are these “progressives” if they’re just as stuck and helpless as the rest of us?
