Everybody says how divided the country is, but there’s a way in which the two political parties aren’t divided *enough.* Where they disagree isn’t as much of a problem as where they agree: no structural reform, no fundamental unrigging of an unjust economy.

Yes ... both parties are in the pockets of huge multinational corporations ... that's for sure ... and that's why conservative Democrats and Republicans will never change that relationship!

There is only one party in the US, they've just convinced a lot of people that fighting over how far right that party should be is more important than blowing it up entirely.

The 2-party system is a punch and judy show. The same billionaires and corporations donate to both parties. The difference is in their audience: R’s sell their lies to the fearful and prejudiced. The D’s sell their lies to the hopeful and idealistic.
