You can’t be a democracy and an oligarchy at the same time. Either the country belongs to all of us or the country belongs only to a few of us. This is the deepest existential question about who we are and who we want to be.

Capitalism is antithetical to democracy. No state could truly represent the people & allow the people to be exploited w/ such obscenity. A state that truly represents its people would swiftly take back the means to uphold the levers of society & coursecorrect away from Capitalism
