Biden & Harris won’t override the decision of the parliamentarian on the $15/hr minimum wage hike, saying they’re disappointed but that they respect it. Better they should respect the right of everyone who works 40 hours a week to make a living wage. For 900,000 people it matters

Let them pass a stand alone bill. They will do it.

Biden and Harris never wanted to raise the minimum wage. If they did, they would be fighting for it.

Their response is a non sequitur. The issue isn't whether they "respect" it. The issue is do they agree with it and is it even relevant since they have the option of simply ignoring the advisory opinion. As an excuse, that's not even an entire fig leaf.

I continue to wish you would use your power to do something more significant than pushing back against the US government. Some of us are planning the Revolution.

You forgot to add that had they over ridden the Parliamentarian they did not have the votes to pass the bill with the minimums wage and the whole bill would have gone down to defeat.

And the parliamentarian is a paper tiger with no real power. It is an excuse not to do it, that's all

Marianne, I love mostly everything you say but I respectfully disagree with you for most likely the first time ever. This is squarely on the so called progressives to stand by their values. Progressives need to hold Biden &Harris accountable to their own campaign promises.Unreal.

I understand why you endorsed him, cuz trump, but please stop acting surprised that he's a sociopath. He had a 40 year history as a destroyer of millions.
