Biden & Harris won’t override the decision of the parliamentarian on the $15/hr minimum wage hike, saying they’re disappointed but that they respect it. Better they should respect the right of everyone who works 40 hours a week to make a living wage. For 900,000 people it matters

I'm telling anyone who'll listen that $15 an hour means more money for everyone once you get a virtuous cycle going. Feds should supply funds to fill gap between current minimum wage and $15 until that happens.

And you can be sure when the Repugnants come up against that same rule, they will DEFINITELY NOT respect / abide by it. Stop being so damn WEAK!

Reading the thread here, and apparently the left has no shortage of ignorance and magical thinking. The Covid Relief needs to get passed ASAP. Better to then have a clean minimum wage bill where the senate won’t be able to hide behind the parliamentarian.

And how many of those people would lose their jobs if their employer had to meet that pay rate???
