With the overriding need to get rid of a neofascist would-be dictator, we hoped the centrist Democrat in question would be as progressive as the Dem platform suggested he might be. Everyone has their own point at which they’re ready to shout loudly that he’s not. My point is now.

It's ok to be careful (conservative), but if it's life or death you need to take action. And if things stay too much the same, it is life or death. It's time to go full steam (some ppl are going to hate you no matter what you do.)

Given the history of the DNC, nothing this new admin had done surprises me... but after the people making their needs and will abundantly clear, it’s still disappointing that the Dem establishment can’t move fwd w/ even 1 single progressive initiative. 1/
