FDR didn’t just rescue people; he brought structural change to the system so people wouldn’t fall back into the same economic pits. It’s going to take more than his painting over the mantlepiece to make the comparison real.

FDR was a criminal he should have been tried for treason, like most presidents. He reinforced the corporatist (AKA fascist according to Mussolini) system started under Wilson, that we are all now enslaved by and that which puppets like you serve.

FDR did more news conferences than any other President. 881 & that was in the 30’s. IMO this shows how was connected to the people of the country and their needs.
