Thanks Marianne! So many are afraid to say the quiet part out loud. Capitalism has us locked in a suicide course with climate change. What else can people possibly think would be required to save humanity? @ewarren's "responsible" capitalism? Please

Elizabeth’s wealth tax and the re-introduction of appropriate regulations on capital would make a huge difference!

No because people will immediately find workarounds, and these taxes will be removed very quickly, because capital still holds power over the political system. In order to create real change, we must remove the problem at its source; we must remove the capitalist class from power
