“I learned about it on the news. I’m on the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees. I don’t think I should be learning about it that way,” said Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), who has long pushed to rein in presidential war powers. politico.com/news/2021/03/02…

I don't believe in leading with war. I agree often with Marianne. But the naivete here is plain foolishness. The world and its evils are real & there are no easy military decisions. Anyone who thinks Biden wants a war is smoking something.

Joe is every bit a war criminal like Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc. Just fronted by a kinder, gentler PR team that hopes you don't notice he bombs and cages POC too.

Can we please put war powers back in the hands of Congress?

It sounds to me that the President ... any President ... has to much power ... we need to change that because we will, at some point, get another Trump in the White House ... either for real in 2024 or (a Trump want to be) sometime in the future ... and we need to be prepared!

Trump: bombed Syria without consulting congress, let Saudi off for killing a journalist, wouldn’t stop bragging. Biden: did the same thing, but didn’t brag about it. That’s the change we got.

Does Biden even know he bombed Syria? I have a feeling that the Military is just acting on its own direction & will at this point, especially since the Uncontrollable Tweeter has been disposed of.

“Biden has told congressional leaders that he ordered the Syria strikes in “self defense” after Iran-backed militia groups attacked American forces in recent weeks. Republican hawks like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said they supported Biden’s decision”
