I have family in TX. They’re not “paranoid recluses” but rather responsible citizens who care about themselves & those around them. Irresponsible reopening endangers them. The insanity of endowing public policy with the ethos of pure selfishness is nothing TX should be proud of.

It’s not fair that counties with basically no cases and those have had covid already or vaccinations need to mask ! I am sure it will be a while in the meantime before we see masks off everyone , but blanket rules no longer should apply! Thank you Abbott!

Lucky for them if they believe that masks work then they are safe. They're still free to walk around with one or two or five masks or even a full blown tyvek suit with an oxygen supply.
