There’s a war on democracy underway; a wave of right wing authoritarianism is rising up all over the world. In the US we’re way past the “It couldn’t happen here” phase. It’s happening. In the words of Abe Lincoln, “We shall nobly save or meanly lose the last best hope of earth.”

Like the right wing governors making masks a choice and left wing govs in lockdown? Like teacher unions issuing unrelated demands so they'll work? Like forcing covid-positive into nursing homes? Beyond the dumbest take ever.

Yep. A whole buncha liberals seem to think they won because they got their guy in the Oval. Meanwhile, the GOP is reloading. They are working on voter suppression laws, and gerrymandering, and they will be back in full. And they have no scruples. This is far from over.

Both sides are being authoritarian. It's a power struggle for control of the public between two corrupt oligarchies. I'd ask you to educate yourself, but I suspect that you're too blinded by partisan enmity to bother.
