Why would they pay people a fair wage when they've been automating they're work?? Even now I see more self checkout machines then Employees in Walmart 馃槀馃槒
So in the video Bernie says that Walmart starts its employees at $11 per hr. That鈥檚 $3 more per he than the minimum wage. And they give their employees discounts on whatever they buy. Shouldn鈥檛 they be praised?
If they raise their employees pay to $15 per hr but lose their incentive of an employee discount is that a good trade off? Also, if the employees at Walmart aren鈥檛 making enough money, why don鈥檛 they go get a better paying job?
the argument here is to pay employees according to their bills as opposed to their skills.
that makes employers responsible for acts and choices that are completely out of their control.
and if you look at Walmart sales, people are neither sick or tired of their low prices.
