Republican legislatures all over the country are trying and in many cases succeeding in passing voter suppression laws, openly admitting that it's because if enough people voted there then the Republicans would lose.

They're also working hard on restricting direct democracy like ballot initiatives. Big fight in Idaho right now. We voted for Medicaid expansion and our Rethugs didn't like that one bit
We're in the Guardian today: "They crisscrossed Idaho in a decades-old RV dubbed the Medicaid Express." theguardian.com/commentisfre…

This is why we need federal legislation in the form of a Voting Rights Act!

You need ID for everything so to require it to vote should not be an issue. Also, there isn’t a modern country that some form of ID/Registration is NOT required. Without, it’s just a Democrat way of cheating. Ballot harvesting etc etc.

They are devoid of ideas for democracy just ones for autocracy

Asking people to use an ID, register to vote and vote on the same day is not voter suppression. False narrative.

But that's a good thing. Ever asked yourself why?

What do we do to stop it?

If a person is capable to make it to a polling station to vote they are capable to make it to a place to get an ID. Your logic is ridiculous. If you are so worried HELP people get their ID. You have plenty of time before the next election. These laws protect your vote too

Calling it voter suppression doesn't help. That sound bite has no ENERGY. No charge. Language is everything. These are usually racist strategies to make it hard to or actually stop people from exercising their constitutional right to vote!! Over & over it must be said.
