Serious times we live in...
American democracy hangs by a thread, and if Biden/Harris/Schumer don't end the filibuster and pass a $15 minimum wage - and thus put working-class Americans back on their feet - the end of the American Experiment is near. Here's why and how: link.medium.com/bv4JgMZ4geb

Can't afford that at the ranch. Hey Marianne, I can but you have to pay $7 for bread and $11 for a half chicken. DEAL?

Suppose we end the filibuster but two senators refuse to vote for the wage increase, then what? Manchin can't be shamed into voting for it. He'll be re-elected regardless. WV is weird ass state.

What we have is a duopoly run by oligarchs. Our Party system requires politicians to sell out to them. It has never been more clear.

I agree with you 💯% all of this is in the BIBLE, it doesn't matter if a person believes or not but it's having the news years ahead.

Even if they end the filibuster they wouldn’t have enough votes.50/50 Senate with 2 Democrats that can’t decide what party they really want to be in.They didn’t cave,it wasn’t possible.

That will have to try other options. This is one of the reasons why politicians break w/constitutional norms because governing is SO DIFFICULT.Firing the parliamentarian does just that.
