Honestly, I actually do see both sides of this matter. For the workers/employees, it'd be great to have for obvious reasons, especially in a pandemic where they could use more incentive. But for the employers, it could result in a nightmare, as it would increase operating costs.

I would like to add, that we have known what we are dealing with for a long long time. The whole political process has been sold out, and that has been obvious for decades. The last debate here is would an inside, takeover approach work. I think the answers are now very clear.

It’s just not passing with THIS emergency Covid bill; it’s not dead: “That provision was part of the House bill, rejected by the Senate...it was not permitted under the byzantine rules Democrats are using to push the legislation through the Senate without GOP votes.” 1/2

Biden and Harris never wanted to raise the minimum wage in the first place or they would fight for it like they fight for Neera Tanden as OMB director.

Thank you! So many of the people arguing about this miss that point. These are real people! 10s of millions of working Americans, on average parents in their 30s, who got their hope's up over a life changing 5k or 10k a year pay raise because the Dems promised it to them.

We need to show the hell up to elect more progressives. If our platform rests on the likes of Manchin, then we don't have a majority & NONE of our issues have a chance & you're DELUDED if u think they do as is. For decades I've watched Dems fail. TO SHOW UP AT THE DAMN POLLS.
