Don't they realize a living wage could reduce SNAP and Sec 8 housing needs thus saving fed govt $$$??? Plus putting more tax revenues in fed/state coffers. Unbelievable.

Weren't they planning on a separate bill for the minimum wage? As long as it gets addressed, and big companies start taking initiatives.

Well, maybe we shouldn't count chickens before they hatch. I understand it's tie to Covid relief, but we can try again with a stand alone bill (if there ever could be such a thing). Like Pelosi, I believe progress on this is inevitable. Stay the course. ✌️💪💜

It's exactly how the system works. Democrats vote for $15 minimum wage, all small business owners turn against them (Republicans anyway for the most part). Democrats refuse to have a vote, all those millions of poor people that supported them don't show up next election.
