When it comes to Biden politics ask yourself "Would this be approved by the board of Raytheon?" 🤔 Biden is not really president and there is no need to get caught by surprise on this stuff.

Then be positive. Expectations about when & how breed disappointments. Cultivate the coalition, don't pander or exploit. This feels like over-eager attempts at spit-balling. Coalition politics is like intersectionality, frequently uncomfortable for prima-donnas. & princes.

They’ll handle it separately rather than slow down immediate aid for drowning people. That’s a reality of legislative politics: change is iterative, requires persistence & no one gets exactly what they want 1st time. The issue is on the table. We’ll broaden support till we win.
