Economic injustice is systemic, and nothing holds the system in place more than a $7.25 minimum wage. There is no justice - racial or otherwise - where there is no economic justice, and no amount of spin can make it otherwise.

#MLK was right all along.

I guess the strategy is to keep people desperate so they can be easily manipulated.

The lack of courage shown by the Democrats ... is suicidal ... They have the majority in the Senate ... yet they are still acting like Mitch does … If they really cared about Economic Justice … they would do what they know in their hearts to be right ... and LEAD!

I just received an email from Daily Kos that says the minimum wage is being up by the Republicans with a threat of the filibuster and that is the reason the Democrats are supporting the Parliamentarian's decision.

I understand what you are trying to say, but one side believes it will be a de facto answer and one side believes it will have negative adverse effects. Neither side is wrong in their belief. It just can't be proven out, either way. It's a stalemate situation.

Careful. You are now starting to marry race and identity politics to class. This is what led them to kill MLK and MalcolmX - an analysis and organizing around CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS. Do you know who will fight you the hardest on this? Democrats.
Nothing holds the system in place like the economic, social, cultural, and political linchpin juggernaut holding this 💩 show together called #CitizensUnited. ☠️ #EndCitizensUnited
