Raising the min wage from $7.25/hr to $15/hr would increase wages of 32 million workers, a majority of whom currently live below poverty line. If the Dems refuse to do this, they’ll surrender all moral authority among millions of people whose votes they will need in the midterms.

I guess I’ve been duped all my 50 years. I was under the impression government was to engage in public service and it was just a shame things didn’t work out this time. Maybe next! Embarrassed to realize this sh*t works exactly as supposed to.

So what? Deja vu all over again. In a cycle or three the Dems will be back in favor after people tire of the GOP's misrule. The eternal cycle of Dem/GOP misrule just keeps rolling along. It's the US System.

At $15, less people needing govt assistance, the crime rate might go down, less evictions, less ppl in fear and hurting EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!

They've also been risking their lives throughout the pandemic and we wouldn't be making it without them.

They don't intend on winning the midterms. Winning the Senate was a tactical error in the grand scheme. One they'll correct at their earliest convenience.

They lost every last drop of their moral authority when they screwed Bernie/US over the second time.

The classic conundrum of concepts versus reality. I remember in 5th grade someone ran for student council saying they could being chocolate milk to the school...they won the vote and taught me early in life that politricks is the real name of that game...bait and switch all day!
