Raising the min wage from $7.25/hr to $15/hr would increase wages of 32 million workers, a majority of whom currently live below poverty line. If the Dems refuse to do this, they’ll surrender all moral authority among millions of people whose votes they will need in the midterms.

In a duopoly that acts as a single party, the moral authority means nothing and elections mean even less. The system in place is quite happy bouncing between the two crappy parties each year because the cruel policies of the status quo are never remedied.

$15 an hour still leaves you in poverty...we need to try harder and care more

And also, the Dems will surrender all moral authority. If it's transactional (we'll give you a mingy wage increase for a vote--hey how is that working out for GA?) then it's not so "moral" is it? Which begs the question: Do the Dems have any moral authority to surrender?
this all a crock of shit. dems don't want to win in the mid terms cause then they would have to pretend to do all the lies they have told and can't blame shit on Republicans.

Since just doing the right thing for fellow Americans, keeping your promise isn’t good enough. There’s always the “it will buy votes” approach. The Democrats can’t get out of their own way. I am one. I held my nose, voted for Joe. I say ditch bipartisan. Take no prisoners.

The Dems are Republicans 🤷‍♂️ It's a single party sis. It's weird that we pretend it's not..
