No, that's not quite right. India has millions of farmers and if the laws were anti farmers, the country would have been up in flames.

Born, brought up & lived here in India for over 50 yrs. The farm laws were in the manifesto of every political party for decades. We are over a billion ppl in a vibrant democracy. So protests are natural. We also know how to distinguish between legitimate & manufactured protests
