If the US gov’t wanted to eradicate poverty, it could do so much to eradicate poverty. If it wanted to eradicate hunger, it could do so much to eradicate hunger. If it wanted to eradicate illiteracy, it could do so much to eradicate illiteracy. The lesson here? It really doesn’t.
