It’s pretty silly to use the entire company’s profits to critique it’s decision to close specific branches. No company would use profitable branches to subsidize unprofitable ones. They would just close the unprofitable ones.

The thing that gets to me is that they can afford it, they just don't want to pay it. This is pure, unadulterated greed.

But Kroger did collect donations for that wonderful organization called the Oath Keepers in some Ohio stores. Kroger has lowered, not raised employees’ hourly rate since kneecapping union representation years ago.

heartbreaking. I’ve seen Samuel at the west Seattle QFC for years now. Very dedicated and friendly gentleman. Letting someone like that go out of pettiness and greed is disgusting. There’s are plenty of small and local stores to shop at if you don’t wanna break the bank at PCC
