This is very, very serious. Voter suppression is a direct attack on our democracy.
Voter suppression bills passed by Georgia Republicans: -end automatic voter registration -repeal no excuse mail voting -add voter ID for mail voting -restrict ballot drop boxes -cut early voting It’s an ugly race to the bottom motherjones.com/politics/202…

The Republicans have become a ruthless party ... they don't care what they do ... as long as it can potentially bring them a win!

None of this is suppression.

Upon its founding (which was likely about retaining slavery), only 10% (or less) of Americans could vote (white male landowners). The system is working as intended.

Democracy for them is the same as religion, reproduction, business, taxes... how they view it is the only way. There might be another word for that.
Georgia has a horrible record of voter suppression. So frustrating to see there’s a possibility of it getting worse. All of these things should be against Federal law.

It's a tragedy what's going on in Georgia. They're basically trying to end democracy in the State. I hope these laws will be overturned by the courts.
