I regret not listening to her more. I've always loved her policy stances but she lost me with the shitting on people with depression and anxiety.
We’re not even two months in and I’m already so tired of hearing excuses.

I didn’t β€œshit on people with depression and anxiety.” I’ve spent a 35 year career serving people with depression and anxiety in any way I could. (The mischaracterization was very deliberate, by the way.)

Medication has been extremely helpful to myself and many others who struggle daily to find balance with our mental "extras" but for you to suggest that medication isn't the solution is a death sentence to many. Meds brought me back from the brink of losing it all.

For the people for whom it is a solution, I have nothing but appreciation for the fact that you have found a solution there. I have actually never said otherwise.

I'll take you at your word, since you took time to acknowledge my comment. I apologize if you feel misunderstood. I do like your policy stance and speaking truth to power. I would love to see you run for office. We could use more voices like yours in government.
