With or without Harris, this doesn't kill it. The House will still pass it, the Senate will pass their own bill (without $15/hr) & the House will add it back in the last stage.

Because she's already vp, so why should she care? She is using the "rules of the Senate" as an excuse. These rules are extremely flexible, as we've seen proven again and again by the GOP over the previous 4 years. They are "the floor is hot lava" rules for walking on furniture.

Because they want the working class struggling in poverty forever, and this would open a precedent for new raises in the following years.

This is the thinking that will bring back Trump even stronger.
