1/ Our society is experiencing a whole systems breakdown that demands a whole systems response. We’re stuck in an endless round of whack-a-mole, an exhausting exercise constantly fighting off madness when what democracy should be is the collective pursuit of solutions & progress.

2/ A system where profit for a few is society’s bottom line is inherently at odds with democracy. The idea of trickle down economics has attached itself like a parasite to our democracy & continues to leech its life force. It’s not 1 thing that’s the problem; it’s the whole thing

3/ An awakening among people that societal change is even possible is always prerequisite to political evolution. In the words of Thomas Paine, “A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong gives it a superficial appearance of being right.” Something is wrong; we can make it right.

And I would argue that it's not the whole thing but US. WE the people hold in our hearts sentiments of supremacy, greed to support that supremacy, & we devise our policies to support supremacy over others. This is the issue at hand, the systems we devise will change as we change.

Here is the key to changing the monetary system to prevent poverty, homelessness, and most crime, by design. It is obvious the current system causes great harm, by design, because it profits those who control and have grown rich and powerful from it. #UBI sevenstarhand.substack.com/p…

Agree. But lack of innovation is just as surely a curse. We’re stuck in a diametrical thinking pattern, whereas we need to be dialectical. We need to think dynamically, not either/or. The world is three dimensional, not two, there are no simple prescriptions. Flux=health.

Trickle down works exactly how the rich intended, “we get almost all the resources and there is a tiny trickle left for the rest of you to fight over.”
