1/ Our society is experiencing a whole systems breakdown that demands a whole systems response. We’re stuck in an endless round of whack-a-mole, an exhausting exercise constantly fighting off madness when what democracy should be is the collective pursuit of solutions & progress.

2/ A system where profit for a few is society’s bottom line is inherently at odds with democracy. The idea of trickle down economics has attached itself like a parasite to our democracy & continues to leech its life force. It’s not 1 thing that’s the problem; it’s the whole thing

3/ An awakening among people that societal change is even possible is always prerequisite to political evolution. In the words of Thomas Paine, “A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong gives it a superficial appearance of being right.” Something is wrong; we can make it right.

I wake up every morning to see the Progressive movement for the people being chiseled away more. “The Soul of the Nation wants government to represent the people. It’s so discouraging.

Our life going forward depends on a wholesale decentralized networked effort, not a highly centralized one. Our gigantic federal government is not nearly agile enough to do much good in these times of rapid, deep, and profound change! Our wealth is in us, not our bank accounts.

About 1/3 of Americans have revealed they don't really want to play the democracy game unless they win and are fine with their leaders resorting to violence to stay in power if they lose.

If you believe that there is a whole systems breakdown, do you think that the current leaders are equipped or motivated to fix things? Was there anyone on the Trump team or is there anyone on the Biden team that you would point to as a transformational leader?

Why fix anything when you can just apply a little duct tape? Few Americans have the stomach for the massive effort it would take to redesign the system
