Gaslighting only works until people see through it. A neoliberal establishment on both left & right has sold itself as the purveyor of our good & guarantor of our security. Now that it's so totally obvious that that's not true, an awakening is happening & the lights are going on.

We’re all as a country being purposefully pushed by our leaders in DC to react in a way that would make their lives so much easier. They don’t want to help they want to f*ck around and find out instead. They’re so afraid of changing anything they’d rather have vigils

I hope you're right, but I tend to think that the way both parties have successfully made politics like team sports over the past decade makes it so people will ignore gaslighting and rally around their "team"

An awakening is important but reform in voting is even more important to make third parties viable. Continuously voting the lesser evil is not helping.
