I’m trying to think of a species that systematically destroys its own habitat, fails to care for and nourish its young, acts in total contradiction to the natural world - yet continues to survive and thrive. So far I haven’t been able to come up with one.

It's more of an interaction between two separate species where one species tries to survive and the other preys on them. Kinda like hunters and do-do birds. In our case, the wealthy prey on the poor because sociopathic behavior is now an attribute, not an illness. 🤔

It isn't about the species. It's about the culture. Read Daniel Quinn.
