I’m trying to think of a species that systematically destroys its own habitat, fails to care for and nourish its young, acts in total contradiction to the natural world - yet continues to survive and thrive. So far I haven’t been able to come up with one.

We are polluting the earth, are destroying our children with lockdowns, masks and social distancing, destroying our immune systems with vax and over-prescribed meds. All to serve large corps that are influencing politicians, the media and running this country.

We're like cancer... or maybe AIDS. A good parasite doesn't kill it's host. We must be the bad kind.

Because that's not a species, it's a social disease and we call it capitalism

Pretty much all of them. Everything expands as much as it can. Balance is a combination of being eaten, starvation, trying to get as many resources as possible. We're just much better at this short term survival game than anything before us. Life is short sighted though.
