The only economic relief people will receive is in the much-touted though inadequate Covid bill, yet it's not getting voted on until after the Senate votes on several other things this week that do not immediately impact someone's ability to pay rent or buy food or medicine. Ugh.
I can’t answer that, but our power lies in refusing to be defeated by what’s happening. It’s being made very clear our generation is being called to a tremendous challenge: to non-violently repudiate and transform a fundamentally unjust system. It’s not easy but I think we will.
