The only economic relief people will receive is in the much-touted though inadequate Covid bill, yet it's not getting voted on until after the Senate votes on several other things this week that do not immediately impact someone's ability to pay rent or buy food or medicine. Ugh.

It doesn't make me feel very confident that we'll get help with the skyrocketing energy prices Texas had last week either. Our electric & gas company here in San Antonio is suggesting we pay it off for the next ten years or so
