Under capitalism automation will result in concentration of wealth and power while impoverishing the workers it replaces. Under socialism automation will result in freedom. I’m an automation engineer.

We’ve had over 50 years to prepare for this. There’s still time to prepare, but time is running out. We need UBI.

It seems like robots will be taking over many of our jobs ... as a result people will constantly need to be retrained ... and while this is happening ... they will need to survive ... so, a universal basic income makes lots of sense!
