Capitalism is an Amoral system. It will never have characteristics within itself not to harm the human condition. You can't have a decent society centered around capitalism.

You can’t have both. It is either the workers own the means of production (socialism) or it is privately owned by a few oligarchs. Either wealth is distributed based off need or based off greed.

I actually agree with this. But I don't think it can work in our society. Not with/in our consumerist based, ego driven culture. Any hints of capitalism, and we'll eat eachother. Actually, we'll do that regardless of what *ism we follow/strive for.

Would a successful society reflect the human mind and its behaviors, engaging positive productive impulses, while negative impulses are restrained or redirected? Nature shows diverse models. Could a single principle build a viable system with equity?
