The problem is with the people who don't measure success by how well the country and the world are doing, but by how much better off they are compared to other people. These people see inequity as the source of their power, the power to dominate and exploit other people.

That’s not entirely true. When people know they have to pay for an education, not their parents or others, they perform better. When people are given things for no reason or purpose, they waste it. Only when someone discovers their purpose do they excel.

Our economy would collapse. The debt would crush any advance. Society would crimble.under rhe weight of outstanding bills. And the people would still accept that they could survive through government intervention even when the government falls apart. Ex: Venezuela.

Like Norway? Naw, the Republicans @GOP would have an absolute coniption fit if the government did something as smart as that!Their attitude is "keep 'em dumb or in debt" for their big business buddies: cheap, dumb labour & smart cookies taking any job to pay off student loans!

Many of us could not afford a college loan. We worked and went to college on our own. Those on loans did not work while going to college.
