It's all fun and games until you start promoting antisemitic myths, @NBCSNL. Every Israeli citizen—Jewish and Arab, Muslim, Christian, of any or no faith—is eligible to be vaccinated; 2/3 of Israel's Arab citizens over 60 already have been. Apologize.

I hear you and I basically agree. But I still cringed. Anti-Semitism is on the rise today, in the United States and globally, and certain tropes are very dangerous. But I get it.

this isn't that. they don't get to use antisemitism as a shield against legitimate criticism. They don't get to do that.

Then you don’t get to say that any time we say that something is anti-Semitic that that’s just what we always say anytime you criticize Israel. The two are distinctly different things. I’ll make the distinction if you will.

Definitely. I was a pro Israel activist in the early 2000s. I still consider myself an old school labor zionist. I've seen what it looks like when people mix antisemitic tropes in with anti-Israel rhetoric. Maybe it'll come up some other kind of way, but this isn't it.

Uh... you do when your being called anti-Semitic for criticizing systemic racism in Israel that's perpetuated by one Semitic ethnicity against another(Arabs are Semitic fyi).

Israel is a religious supremacists white settler colonial state. That is occupying land, killing people and arresting kids. Israel actually has kids in cages. If pointing out that fact is anti semetic then u are saying it is anti semetic to not want palestinian occupation.

If criticizing the Israeli government makes you an antisemite, does criticizing the Trumplicans make you anti-white?

What is this even saying? If someone says that calling out israel's treatment of its non-jewish population isn't anti-semitism than... any time someone criticizes israel it's not anti-semitic? Because that's true. Criticizing Israel isn't anti-semitic, it's anti-zionist.
