True. I watched that and cringed. Enough that the Israeli govt does is worthy of legitimate criticism; lying about what they do is just as bad.
It's all fun and games until you start promoting antisemitic myths, @NBCSNL. Every Israeli citizen—Jewish and Arab, Muslim, Christian, of any or no faith—is eligible to be vaccinated; 2/3 of Israel's Arab citizens over 60 already have been. Apologize.

I realize that, but the Palestinian Authority has its own power as well. I am not defending the occupation, but not everything that goes wrong there is Israel’s fault. The situation there is way more complicated than people here make it out to be. google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews…

Gosh I wonder who made it so complicated and if they did that just so they could enable atrocities like failing to vaccinate a captive population...

They're occupied but they are powerful???
The Palestinian Authority has the power to purchase vaccines from Russia, which it did, but those vaccines were blocked at the border. For days, right-wing Israeli officials “debated” whether to allow the vaccines through. They only gave in after days of global outrage.

Marianne, this is a really bad take. Pushing blame onto the Palestinian Authority aside for now because it's not even topical to thag link. Here's the full headline.

You are right.
The "medical apartheid" cohort doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that the Palestinian Authority has, in fact, been acquiring and distributing vaccines to its citizens for more than two decades.
