how about a guarantee of a decent life instead of a “chance”? chance suggests that you might not make it. healthcare, housing, and other basic necessities of a decent life should not be left to chance

I've read in diff years the estimate to feed the entire world's population...and it is a TINY fraction of what they spend on wars every year

But the richest people of the world, while they are few, deprive the poor, and they are many, of decent living.

Hoarding resources for power and profit will, some day, be seen as vile, unthinkable behavior.

That laughter you hear is the duopoly. It knows it owns the minds of the vast majority and that majority will keep them in power. Doesn't matter if it's D or R, they both protect the status quo. Keep voting for them to keep your dreams as dreams.

Defeating corruption is the key.
